Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented and knowledgeable Workday Administrator to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and optimizing our Workday system, ensuring seamless HR and financial operations. This role requires expertise in Workday configuration, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with various departments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Workday System Management

    • Administer and maintain the Workday system, including security, configuration, and integrations.

    • Perform regular system updates, patches, and enhancements to ensure optimal performance.

    • Troubleshoot and resolve system issues, working closely with Workday support and internal teams.

  • Configuration & Customization

    • Configure Workday modules such as Core HR, Payroll, Benefits, Recruiting, and Performance Management based on business requirements.

    • Develop and maintain custom reports, dashboards, and data extracts to support organizational needs.

    • Implement and manage business processes, workflows, and approval chains within Workday.

  • User Support & Training

    • Serve as the primary point of contact for Workday-related inquiries and support requests.

    • Provide training and guidance to end-users to maximize their proficiency with Workday functionalities.

    • Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation, including user guides and training materials.

  • Data Management & Reporting

    • Ensure data integrity by performing regular audits, validations, and reconciliations.

    • Generate and analyze reports to provide insights and support decision-making processes.

    • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify reporting needs and deliver tailored solutions.

  • Project Management

    • Lead and participate in Workday implementation projects, upgrades, and process improvement initiatives.

    • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project milestones are met on time and within scope.

    • Manage project documentation, timelines, and deliverables effectively.

  • Compliance & Best Practices

    • Stay updated on Workday features, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance system capabilities.

    • Ensure Workday configurations comply with relevant laws, regulations, and company policies.

    • Implement security protocols and access controls to protect sensitive data.


Qualifications

  • Education

    • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. (Preferred)

  • Experience

    • years of experience as a Workday Administrator or in a similar role.

    • Proven experience with Workday implementation, configuration, and support.

    • Familiarity with HR processes and best practices.

  • Skills

    • Strong understanding of Workday modules and functionalities.

    • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    • Proficiency in creating and managing Workday reports and dashboards.

    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.

    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.

    • Attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Workday certifications (e.g., Workday HCM, Workday Reporting) are highly desirable.

  • Experience with Workday integrations and APIs.

  • Knowledge of SQL or other database querying languages.

  • Familiarity with Agile project management methodologies.

  • Experience in HR industry.
